We are not kidding when we say we go the extra mile so you can see more than any other Edinburgh walking tour. Get your walking or hiking shoes ready because you are in for a stunning city-hike.

We can’t stress enough that this cannot be compared to the standard history tour where you’re mostly standing. The script is flipped here and the outcome is wonderful. We put a lot of love and care into designing these expeditions and are sure you will love them as much as we do.

Please note that our tours are not suitable for those with an especially slow pace or walking impairments. Participants should be able to maintain a relaxed but average walking pace.

Seasons and Weather

Each expedition experience is fully unique and depends on season, time of day, and weather conditions. The same walk will offer different sights depending on when you experience it. You never know what to expect and can enjoy showers, sunshine, wind, stunning cloud formations or everything, everywhere, all at once. Please be advised that images and videos shown might not reflect the conditions you will experience the day of your expedition. It is always an exciting surprise what Scotland has in store for us.

Toilet Access

Please be aware that access to public toilets varies across our expeditions. During the Ultimate City Hike expedition, we will make scheduled stops at available public bathrooms along the route. For our Scottish Landscapes expedition, there is one public restroom located within the nature reserve. In the Arthur’s Seat & Holyrood expedition, there are no toilets within the park, so we recommend using facilities before the start of the expedition.

Photography

The shown photos and videos represent possible views on the corresponding expedition. You will find yourself in the same areas and therefore, could get similar pictures. However, the actual media outcome depends on external conditions, camera quality, lens range, post production, and the exact location.
